All people who work within the Youth Programs at Geary Baptist Church (in any capacity - including all workers who help with: Discovery Hour, Awana, Church Nursery, Prayer Meeting Nursery and VBS) have a mandatory obligation to provide Pastor Greg with a POLICE BACKGROUND CHECK & APPLICATION FORM which will be kept on file in the church office. The police background check is submitted once and an update form is completed on a yearly basis. However, a new application form is required every year. Please be assured that this information is treated with discretion and total confidentiality. For more information or, if you have not received your copy of the "Child Abuse Prevention Policy" and the "Application Form for Children and Youth Worker", please contact the church.
SPECIAL NOTE: If you are age 14 to 17 and help out with any of the children's programs (such as Jr. Church, Nursery or VBS) you need to fill out an application form. This is so the Church will have a record on file of everyone who is helping in the programs. Please see the Secretary for an application.
All workers involved with the GBC Youth Programs need to complete an APPLICATION FORM every January! Please complete your form, sign it and place it in the Secretary’s mailbox in the Church foyer. More forms are available on the table in the foyer. Thank you.
